Christy Lenahan is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and is alumna of Sts. Leo-Seton Catholic School, Northside High School, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002 and her Master's in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama in 2007 and 2014. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Christy began her professional career at University Medical Center (now University Health Center) in Lafayette and has since practiced, at Lafayette General Medical Center, Acadiana Cares, and,of course, Serenity MedAesthetics.

She currently serves as the Graduate Coordinator of Nursing tasked with supervision of Masters (nurse practitioner and nursing education) and Doctoral programs at UL Lafayette. Christy is an active member of several professional organizations and has multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations. She volunteers every year at the Louisiana Lion’s Camp for children and for various local functions throughout the year. Christy is a member of the St. Pius Catholic Church community, Youngsville Lion’s Club, and Youngsville Chamber of Commerce. Her hobbies include fishing, crocheting, and crafting with her children.
